A fully recovered Shreyanka Patil has been named in India’s T20I squad for the upcoming Australia tour in February–March. Her previous appearance for India came during the 2024 T20 World Cup, after which injuries kept her out for most of 2025. She also missed the last Women’s Premier League, but marked a strong return this season with RCB, highlighted by a five-wicket haul just a day before the squad announcement.
India have also brought back middle-order batter Bharti Fulmali, who last featured in T20Is in March 2019. Fulmali enjoyed an impressive WPL last year, scoring 133 runs in six matches at a striking rate of 172.72. She has carried that form into the current season with brisk knocks of 36 off 19 against MI and 39 off 20 versus RCB. The only player omitted from India’s previous T20I series against Sri Lanka is Harleen Deol.
India T20I squad:
Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Smriti Mandhana (VC), Shafali Verma, Renuka Thakur, Sree Charani, Vaishnavi Sharma, Kranti Gaud, Sneh Rana, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh (WK), G Kamalini (WK), Arundhati Reddy, Amanjot Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Bharti Fulmali, Shreyanka Patil
For the ODI leg following the three T20Is, India have predictably included Shafali Verma, who impressed while standing in for the injured Pratika Rawal during the championship-winning campaign. Rawal continues to recover from a knee injury, while wicketkeeper-batter Yastika Bhatia remains unavailable as she rehabilitates after knee surgery last September.
Youngster G Kamalini has earned an ODI call-up and can also serve as a wicketkeeper. Radha Yadav and Arundhati Reddy have been left out, while Kashvee Gautam has been added to the squad.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India will announce the squad for the one-off Test at a later stage. The white-ball tour begins with the first T20I at the Sydney Cricket Ground on February 15, followed by matches on February 19 at Manuka Oval and February 21 at Adelaide Oval.
After a short break, the ODI series starts in Brisbane on February 24 at Allan Border Field, with the remaining two games scheduled for February 27 and March 1 at Bellerive Oval.
